Appointment Policy

At Peterborough West Animal Hospital, our goal is to provide the highest quality veterinary care to all of our patients in a timely manner. To ensure that we can accommodate every pet in need of care, we ask that clients respect our appointment scheduling policies.

Appointment Cancellations:

• We understand that plans sometimes change. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
• For surgeries or extended appointments, 48 hours’ notice is required.
• Cancellations made with less than the required notice will be subject to a cancellation fee.

No-Show Appointments:

• A “no-show” occurs when a client misses an appointment without calling in advance.
• After a first missed appointment, you will receive a reminder of our policy.
• After two or more missed appointments, a no-show fee will be applied and/or a deposit will be required to schedule future visits.
  

Deposits:

• For certain procedures or high-demand appointment times, a deposit may be required at the time of booking.
• Deposits are applied toward your invoice at the time of service. If you cancel with sufficient notice, the deposit will be fully refunded or applied to a future visit.
