Virtual Appointments

Peterborough West Animal Hospital is pleased to offer virtual healthcare services for our established clients and patients. With a virtual appointment, a qualified technician will be available to assist you onsite while the veterinarian conducts a consultation virtually via Zoom video. This offers convenience to you, as a pet owner, and safe, high-quality care for your pet.

How it Works

To take advantage of our virtual care option, simply give us a call at (705) 745-4800 to book an appointment. When you arrive at the clinic with your pet, the technician will greet you and welcome you both into the exam room. Once settled in, the veterinarian will join the appointment remotely via Zoom, interacting through video to assess and discuss your pet’s health. 

Services Available via Virtual Care

You can schedule a virtual appointment for a variety of different services, including routine wellness exams, follow-up care, and consultations. There are, however, certain situations in which we may recommend your pet be seen by a veterinarian in-person, such as conditions requiring advanced diagnostics or emergency cases. 

Our team will advise you at the time you call to schedule the appointment, or during the virtual visit, should we determine in-person care may be necessary.
